At the kapa haka

On Sunday afternoon I went with my family to kapa haka to watch the kapa haka at Northland College. I was so

excited. I said, “Mum this is fun.”

First my mum went to my aunt's house. I said to mum, “Can I stay.” She said, “Yes.” Next after the kapa haka we walked to town and we did a song for the people. They were giving us money. We went to get frozen coke. It was yum. After that we went back to Northland College. My mum was going up town and got us some lollies. When my mum came back we went to my aunt’s house and played with my cousin’s toys. Then my aunty got us a kai for tea. I felt happy.

Rules at school

I think we should have rules at school.

Firstly I think we should have rules at school because then we will be safe.

Secondly I think we should have rules at school because we can have a happy school.

Another reason I think we should have rules at school is because then we will have good learning at school.

Lastly I think we should have rules at school because then people will be happy.

So I think we should have rules at school.

At the park

On Saturday afternoon I went to the park. It was fun and good. We got a frozen blueberry slushy. It was yummy. Me and my sister were playing on the swing.  My brothers were on the slide and my mum was in the truck with my dad. Then it rained very hard and we were getting wet in the park. Dad said, “Let’s go to Whangarei to see Nan and Papa and Aunty and Cousin.” When we got there my aunty gave us lollipops and a chocolate. I saw my other nan and papa. I felt happy.
